Snow Peeps Almost a foot of snow blanketed Larchmont last week. From a winter wonderland emerged the snow people, who magically appeared on lawns and parks all over town. Was it the work of young mitted-hands or perhaps of those young at heart? We’ll never know. What we do know is that they are a whole lot of fun to behold. In tribute, Larchmont Dish presents “A Snowman Symphony.”
For Kids Larchmont Library is holding several children's events this week while schools are on winter break. On Tuesday February 16, the Library Olympics are being held for ages 2 to 11. Fun activities are scheduled throughout the day. The next day, February 17, children ages 7-10 are invited to participate in a Captain Underpants party with several themed games in honor of author Dave Pilkey’s popular series. And finally on Friday February 19, little girls aged 4 and up will love getting dressed up in their fanciest clothes to attend a Fancy Nancy Soiree. Find out more details here.
Say it! It’s the last weekend to catch the Rocky Horror Picture Show at Westchester Sandbox Theater. Grab a costume, some toilet paper and purchase tickets at 914.630.0804.
