Hello Cupcake Moms and tots are invited to join the Larchmont Newcomers' Club (LNC) for their annual Cupcake Picnic at Turtle Park. Bring a blanket and pack some lunch. LNC will provide the cupcakes. Small Art The Sixth Annual Small Works Juried Show is underway at the Mamaroneck Artists' Guild. Juror Jeffrey Mueller, the Gallery Director at Silvermine Guild Arts Center personally selected the media pieces on display from among numerous entrants. The art works are no bigger than 15” and on display through May 29th. The opening reception is this Saturday, 4 to 6 p.m.
Veggie Sensation Chef Emily is back at the Mamaroneck Farmers’ Market this Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Stop by her booth to see what farm fresh dish she is whipping up with seasonal vegetables. She'll give you a sample and even share her recipe!
Senior Movement At Home on the Sound, a grassroots organization with a focus on helping Larchmont-Mamaroneck seniors stay in their homes as they grow older, is officially launching this week. With more than 100 volunteers, the organization intends to offer a wide array of services, discounts, referrals and social events to its members. Larchmont-Mamaroneck Girl Scout Troop 2522 will be stationed in front of the Stop & Shop on Boston Post Road on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. For those watching their waistlines, you can donate a box to the Larchmont-Mamaroneck Food Pantry or the Troops overseas.
