THE WELCOME WAGON
TEDDY SALON Teodoro “Teddy” Palesi has worked at four different Larchmont hair salons over the past 11 years. And they were all located at 1901 Palmer Avenue. At the urging of his customers, Teddy decided to pursue his dream of opening his very own hair salon. When space became available at 1875 Palmer Avenue, he jumped at the chance. He reached out via Facebook to his friends from Sicily, his homeland, to get ideas on how to design his salon. Pictures and suggestions were exchanged, and the end result is a salon with a contemporary, clean European design with Italian furnishings, natural lighting and hardwood floors. Teddy and his assistant Sonia have been busy from the day they opened their doors a few weeks ago. They offer haircuts, color, keratin hair treatments, and glazing. They are opened Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Book an appointment at 914.630.7287.
